Gringa Consulting

Why learn from a gringa / American? Because I have been in your zapatos, I learned Spanish as a second language over 20 years ago. I founded Gringa Consulting in 2014 to share my love of this language and culture with other gringos.  I know what it’s like to travel to Spanish speaking countries and feel overwhelmed. I know the Spanish you need to be successful at work, or living abroad. And I’ll share it with you in a way that will make you laugh, that will soften the blow of the grammar rules, and will prove to you how well you can learn new things when you put in the work.

No two learning experiences will be exactly the same. That’s why I have worked to create and revamp my curriculum for different industries, learning styles, and reasons for learning.

I am a University of Denver graduate with majors in International Business and Spanish, and was cum laude as well as a college volleyball player. I worked in Sales before quitting that career, spending six weeks in South America, and later switching to Spanish learning startup in Denver. Afterward, I used my Spanish in the corporate sector in sales, customer service, and operations for 7 years. All the while I was growing my client base and refining my teaching abilities before taking my business full-time in 2021.
